Is there a “patched” version of Geforce Experience that will allow me to use features like Shadowplay without logging in with an Nvidia account?

Fantastic software, I use it to automatically update drivers with telemetry disabled.

I tried with the “Shadowplay” option and NVCleanInstall automatically selects a lot of options because they are a requirement of that, and when I install it, it keeps asking me to login, maybe I did something wrong and I should not accept the minimum dependencies.

Is there a reason you are avoiding logging in? Couldn’t you use a service like 10 minute email and essentially forget about it?

I gave up trying to update my wife’s laptop because of this I don’t see why Nvidia need my email address. I’ve never had to create an account for drivers before

You dont need an account for the drivers. Only geforce experience which is a game launcher optimizer that gets bundled with the drivers. You can get the drivers solo using soms of the options in this thread or my personal favorite tinynvideaupdater on github. Alternatively you can just use the normal installation from nvidia and just never log in into geforce experience. Do a windows search for nvidia and you will find the driver settings tool

That’s fair. Some software requires you to sign in again if you make network changes like connect to a VPN or if you update it so I can see why you’d want to avoid it

I’m sure I’ve got like 15 nvidia accounts I’ve made with throwaway emails over the years. Annoying when I do a factory restart and have to do it again.

Not really, I just find it completely unnecessary to create an account to use something that would be perfectly usable without an account, and I know I can use something like OBS Studio and use Buffer Replay but even with NVENC I feel that there is no program that works as well for recording on Nvidia as Shadowplay.

And I haven’t tried to create an account with a temporary email, I just assumed that Nvidia blocks them by default, I’ll try to do that.
