So this week is the European Mobolity Week. This year the topic is sharing of public space, but in this community it’s all about bike commuting!

How is your commute?

Mine is pure urban area (Milan, Italy), 12 km, some 50% on cycle lanes/path, the rest in the traffic.

    Commute Mannheim - Heidelberg

    Once I’ve made it out of Mannheim it‘s a nice ride along the river.

    Bike paths aren‘t the best quality though…

    Geneva, around 20 minutes, 8km with some steep climbs on the way in. 80% on protected bike lanes, a little bit of shared area with pedestrians and the rest on “yellow line” bike lane.

    I could go faster with a more direct route but I like this one cause it is peaceful.

    When I have time I also use another scenic route that goes above the junction of Rhône and Arve rivers, just to see who is winning that day:
