Possibly. Im not knowledgeable enough to really know. I was just using Trump’s “who knew healthcare was so complicated” quote.

Time to backpedal, talk out of both sides of the mouth, and pretending it’s all in generic terms, so that he’s totally on board with what MAGA wants, just like those good times before the election.

Crucially they will want to make it as easy as possible to deport even H1B holders , so that their employers can wield even more power over them. That will make them even more desirable as workers over Americans.

Well yea, why pay an American $200K/year at your San Francisco when you can import 2 H1B’s for the same price working remotely from your “St. Louis, remote” office?

/s, in case that isn’t obvious.

My former employer doesn’t bother with H1-B. They just have them work via remote desktop from India and claim that all software is developed in the USA.

Yeah there’s that, too. I work in the US for a company that won’t let me hire anyone that isn’t in India.

    Or…

Well look who shocked the people who didn’t vote for Trump by how dumb they’re not!

Ofc they’re gonna do all this shit anyway, b/c the King don’t care what the poors want.

Musk just needs someone to take a shot at him and maybe he will snap out of his “this is a simulation” bullshit and come back to earth.

It’s way too late for that. True Believers like Musk don’t just think it’s a simulation, they think they’re the main thing being simulated and the rest of us are NPCs, which is why it’s just fine to treat us all like dogshit. If he survived an assassination attempt, that would only prove it to him.

Somebody just needs to dig up and resurrect the White Death.

Häyhä preferred iron sights over telescopic sights, as they enable a sniper to present a smaller target for the enemy (a sniper must raise his head a few centimetres higher when using a telescopic sight), and can be relied on even in extreme cold, unlike telescopic sights which tend to cloud up in cold weather.

Simo Häyhä, often referred to by his nickname The White Death (Finnish: Valkoinen kuolema; Russian: Белая смерть, romanized: Belaya smert’), was a Finnish military sniper during World War II in the 1939–1940 Winter War between Finland and the Soviet Union. He used a Finnish-produced M/28-30 rifle (a variant of Mosin–Nagant) and a Suomi KP/-31 submachine gun. Häyhä is believed to have killed over 500 enemy soldiers during the conflict, the highest number of sniper kills in any major war. Consequently, he is often regarded as the deadliest sniper in history.
