What better way to get people on life long pharmaceuticals than the standard American diet… So many people eat horrible “food” these days.

I was saying just the other day how I suspect that, in the future, people will look back on what we ate now and marvel at how we basically ate poison every day. Insane amounts of sugar and simple carbohydrates, PFAS and microplastics in everything, highly processed foods, etc.

But with the state of society, so many people don’t have the time or energy cook properly. Everything goes to work and other chores/requirements just to get by.

Seems weird to call it “Western” when the Mediterranean is also part of the “West”.

It’s a hassle how hard it is to avoid sugar though - in everything from protein shakes, to alcoholic drinks.
