Okay, admittedly this is the best-looking real life half-track I’ve ever seen, and I really like the idea of them in general, but I’m kind of annoyed that half-tracks were mostly used by the Nazis. Didn’t ANYONE else take the concept seriously?
US made quite a number of them for lend-lease export. M2, M3, M5, M16 were all used by at least the Brits in WW2. From what I understand though, they didnt work like the German half tracks bc the tracks didn’t really steer the vehicle but just provided forward movement. Once proper APCs made it into the scene, they kinda became obsolete.
