This world is fallen and corrupt. Sociopathy is rewarded over competence. The ruthless fool is seen as greater than the doubting learner.

Rejecting the values of society that are pushed through ads and propaganda is a good thing. Trust yourself and your own conscience over “group consensus” that something that works for you is bad, and the alternative with the most money to buy ads is superior.
