I have a specific order to obtaining my favorite vgm:

1 - Buy / Download from the artist legit if available, whether from bandcamp or as dlc for some games

2 - Check to see if sittingonclouds.net or sephi.zophar.net have it

3 - Check if it’s on spotify & use spotiflyer if so

4 - Last resort if it’s only on youtube or soundcloud… yt-dlp

Now that I wrote this I probably should have asked if you stream or download music but whatever.

    I agree that soulseek is great when you are looking for really niche stuff (but if you can buy it on bandcamp or somewhere else, it’s important to support the artists :) )
