The addiction to which human beings are subjected on a daily basis has various facets. We are addicted to the procrastination of every decision and every action aimed at real change. We are addicted to the comfort, luxury and privileges that permeate our society. We are addicted to mental laziness and to the habits of our everyday's choices. We are addicted to hypocrisy, to the idea of "security" of a society based on the export of democracy. The society we have built is like any cheap drug: we're surrounded by it and it's easy to find. It gives us a sense of security from which we struggle to detach ourselves, it makes us dependent on it. We will pay the price of the consequences of our actions, together with who and what surrounds us. It's not too late to detox from this addiction. THINK. ACT. REACT.
