Hello does anyone know of a community or site that has some outpost pictures of layouts and guides? sort of like the stardew valley farms subreddit or something

I’d like this too but for one thing, and one thing only: Storage.

How the heck am I supposed to manage all these limited containers? IT’S SO FRUSTRATING

Use the two unlimited ones in the lodge and realize that outposts are currently half baked and useless.

You can connect storage containers for raw materials, why not for misc storage. Alternately, there could be an “expensive to build” storage that connects all ships, and outposts together

…as I’m thinking of it, they could do an early-ish mission that has the player connect the storage at the lodge to the storage on the ship. Later they could update that as they began building outposts. Ffs, there could be some BS in-game, story reason that the player finds a piece of experimental tech that uses a type of the space-folding technology to link the storage containers…

edit and to answer your actual question, I’ve seen some decent YouTube videos that talk about outpost building so you don’t waste your time screwing up. Search beginner outpost starfield

You don’t really need any excuses. You can build cargo links, there’s no reason for them to not simply connect all outpost storage. Yes, instantaneous access to everything, everywhere might be a tad unrealistic but is it really any more unrealistic than one person just plonking down a whole mining operation in an afternoon? I’d argue the added convenience would more than make up for needing a tiny bit more willing suspension of disbelief.
