Tracking calories for weight loss, I realized that milk is “heavy”, and I poured a lot of it into my coffee. Now I can think of better use for these calories (in solid form) in my <2000kcal deficit plan.
It took me about 6 months of weakening black coffee with extra water and then strengthening it gradually, but I got used to drinking my coffee black full-strength now.
I’m doing something similar! I need milk and sugar to make coffee palatable but I’m gradually reducing the amounts of both.
