Question: what does defederating from threads.net do for a Lemmy instance? I know it’s all ActivityPub, but does Lemmy have any fundamental interoperability with Mastodon-like services like Threads?
Yes, you can access Mastodon from lemmy and vice-versa, but the formatting gets weird. Masto users act like lemmy munis, for example.
Neat. Looks like I have a little more research to do on how this whole thing works.
