I was reading a post in another sub when I received and answer to a question I asked on lemmy support. When I replied it not only posted my response to my original post but it posted the same reply as a response in the other sun I was reading.

I’ve come across this before but it seems to only be a visual bug. Refreshing the post will make the message disappear. Did it actually send for you?
Yea it did post. I had to delete that post out of the community I was reading
I forgot to mention this was the through replying via the inbox button
