Honestly the background view is what impressed me in this pic
Right? The bike is cool, don’t get me wrong, but that waterfall/stream down the rocks is beautiful! Seems like a lovely spot~
Add to that a freakin steeple suggesting a beautiful centuries old Cathedral in the background.
In Canada we have our ancient wilderness … In Europe they have centuries of historical civilization.
TBF, we also had millennia of historical civilization in Canada but something happened…
Well … At least according to Wikipedia, one of the necessary parts of civilization was a writing system.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civilization?wprov=sfla1
As far as I know there were no writing systems developed by native Americans until Sequoya invented one for the Cherokee in the 1820s.
So there is an argument to be made that although there were native societies here first, there was no civilization.
That’s a pretty enthnocentric definition. I can’t read most of the sources, but reference #5 gets it’s definition from a book written in 1936. Modern anthropology and other social sciences have moved beyond this definition because deciding if “Civilization” exists should be more nuanced than checking boxes.

It’s one of few hills in Berlin - Kreuzberg. The steeple is not a cathedral, but a monument from 18th century dedicated to victory in the war against Napoleon.
It’s a nice park to just chill and drink a beer, and the waterfall helps to cool the air in these hot days.
can’t get that with a car. rewarding.
It’s Viktoriapark, Berlin! Beautiful spot.
I just noticed there may have been a tree dragon rearing up on you while taking that pic.
That right there is couple goals to me. Gardening and active transportation are both super sexy.
May I ask what’s the plan for this wood?
We built a box to store our gardening tools and it also doubles as a bench. Nothing fancy really.
Where the frick do you live, friend? Just outside of Mordor? Lol…jk. Dope bike.
If that load stayed upright then i think the bike only deserves a fraction of the credit, whoever packed and rode that is a boss.
On mastodon I follow the hash tag #carryshitolympics you would be a perfect candidate. I love my Muli Cargo Bike
That’s awesome! I really want a cargo bike, but they’re just not really a thing in my area.
There is so much cool shit going on in that photo
I didn’t know until right now that “cargo bikes” existed. Cool!
