I’ve got a ton of old computer cables I’m getting rid of. Old display port stuff for old Macs, dvi, hdmi, vga, rca, dvi, usb of all flavors, network cables, etc.
Short of salvation army, any better places to take them?
Same with a few 3tb and smaller enterprise grade hard drives that have been wiped. Couple 1080p monitors, old layer 2 switches too.
Try posting over on retrocomputers. A reader in the Austin area might want them.
Best Buy does electronics recycling
Understood, I’m trying to find them a useful home if possible. Only reason I had a lot of this stiff was from working on people’s older computers, maybe someone else out there could find it useful
If you’re on facebook, there might be a BuyNothing group for your area. Guaranteed someone will take them off your hands.
I’ll have to ask my sister to list for me. Left Facebook so long ago.
Question about pre-paid parking. When going to events especially in and around downtown, I usually prepay for parking in garages. I see that they also allow people without reservations to park, just for a higher fee. In that case, is there a risk of someone who prepaid to actually run out of parking space if they don’t arrive early? Or are cars coming in being counted to make sure prepaid customers have a slot available?
Not answering your question but what I usually do is to drive to the nearest HEB or Walmart or similar and ride my bike from there.
