Hello everyone!
I’ve setup two more public interfaces that you can use to browse lemmy.ca:
-
https://old.lemmy.ca/ - This runs mlmym to give you an experience closer to that site most of us fled from
-
https://voyager.lemmy.ca/ - This runs voyager for a more iOS mobile style interface
Enjoy!
Thanks for the kind words! @Shadow@lemmy.ca has been amazing.
Just so you know with the transition to the new team all prior donation subscriptions have been cancelled and we’ve yet to set up a new system for donations.
We’ll let you all know when we have a new system up and running right now but it’s not high priority as we’re well funded for at least the next 6 to 9 months if we don’t have explosive growth.
I joined recently and tried to find lemmy.ca on Patreon, but couldn’t. Will you folks set up your presence there? That’s where I support all other Fediverse instances I’m using (plus Lemmy itself), so I’m assuming a lot of fedizens will find it natural to support you there.
I’ll keep that in mind, and I’ve just had a realization, we can set up all the donation options and just not “cash out” until we’re determined non-profit status and how we’re going to set up the financial side of it.
I think if you consider Patreon, also do consider OpenCollective as well. I know a lot of people including myself use it quite often.
