Libertarians can be both Left or Right, Libertarianism is just the opposite of Authoritarianism. Left/Right just indicates economic policy.
People often treat it as “Conservative that likes weed and doesn’t want to be called one”
I agree (for the most part). I still don’t see a lot of them around on either side. But you might be right in that I was expecting more right wing libertarians as well.
I consider myself left libertarian btw.
