My county started doing work on a section of high traffic road one summer a few years ago. They ran out of money to fund work on it, so it legit just stayed that way for like 2 years.
They had no problem finding $3m to build a whole new high school gym at the same time though.
It pisses me of so much! Years and years of construction on these long term projects, bit there’s never anyone around. Like they work 4 hours overnight and call it good.
Well, they could pay the construction companies to focus on one project, do teo shufts and get shit done in a month, but that would cost like 30% more, so instead it is just going on in the regular pace for 6 months
