So like the title says, I just want to appreciate how good ubuntu+xfce (xubuntu) is. I love the simplicity & how lightweight this distro. There’s no bloat on minimal install, to the point I need to install the essential tools like task manager, music player, image viewer & xarchiver myself lol.
Nvidia driver installed without any problem, I can switch from on demand & performance mode flawlesly using nvidia x server. I also can make L2TP vpn working on xubuntu, dunno why but I’m having problem when using it on debian & win 11.
I’ll try using xubuntu as my daily driver. Wish I’ll never facing any problem in the future, especially about compatibility with ms.office.
Have been using it for about a decade. It hasn’t changed all that much, in a good way. Still fast, reliable, and great even on older hardware.
I use LibreOffice and occasionally google docs, would those work for you? Or an online version of ms office maybe? If that exists, I’m honestly not sure.
