Now that Kbin and lemmy can see and interact with each other I have been going to different magazines and subscribing to them in hopes they will appear in ALL for everyone, is that how it works or will those not be visible to anyone on our instance?
From what I understand, yes that’s part of it. Admins can initiate this process too, but idk how they do it. Good on your taking the initative.
I just want to help get this fleshed out in the most efficient way!
There’s nothing special admins can do for this. I’ve been manually searching and subscribing to interesting communities on my end as well.
That’s awesome, I have been adding some communities on my own (from lemmy.world mostly) in the desktop web browser because it would be a pain to do it on mobile lol.
NGL, mixing all these community seems that someday we will have more content than Reddit… Only if those community don’t vanish with the pass of time ofc.
Hopefully more people will join soon.
honestly I don’t care about becoming the eye of sauron, I think federation being use it or lose it is a good thing since not all communities/magazines are worth having around imo
That works for everyone in fmhy.ml instance. Sadly not for me, but i’m interested in finding Kbin magazines. Do you have a tool similar to the comunities finder for lemmy instances?
