Prompt: space station on the moon, lots of glass, colorful inside, grey outside, earth in background – Bing Image Creator
Theme
With all the news about humans travelling into space for fun, I thought it would be time for a challenge about space.
Ready to unleash your creativity? Show us your vision of humanity’s future in space! Whether it’s futuristic space stations, colonized planets, or deep-space exploration, we want to see how YOU imagine humans conquering the stars.
Submit your best AI-generated artwork and be part of this exciting journey beyond Earth. I’m sure you can do a lot better than my space station on the moon ;)
Like previous entries, take your time! Some of you can be super fast (me included) and the early bird often catches the worm. So for this challenge I’m subtracting a point for anyone who posts within 24 hours. It’s not ideal, and I know it’s not something everybody likes, but we should settle that outside the contest I think.

You win! Here is your price:
As the ship shuddered, little Noah stood by the viewport, pressing his tiny hand against the cool glass. His breath fogged up the window as he stared out at the chaos unfolding in the skies beyond. Planets hung like marbles in the void, burning and fractured, and streaks of light flashed by—the endless war raging on in the distant space. He didn’t understand why everything outside was crumbling, but he could feel the tension around him.

Thanks for participating! You didn’t win this time, but I hope you had fun :) 2nd place, well done.
oops
I felt that things are looking pretty dire nowadays. So I decided to go with something that sounds positive for me.
Prompt : A futuristic solarpunk city on an alien planet, with buildings covered in vertical gardens and solar panels. Solar-powered airships float in the sky, while wind turbines and sleek electric vehicles move through lush streets filled with exotic flora. People live in harmony with nature, tending to community gardens and harvesting renewable energy. The city integrates with the natural landscape, bathed in bright sunlight, embodying sustainable and eco-friendly living. Trees have blue and purple leaves.
This looks really nice.
Though I always feel like vertical cities like these need more sky bridges on different levels.
You would need so many elevators just to get from one place to the next. Unless you’re into some serious stair walking :)Agreed on sky bridge! Or like, those walkable moving sidewalks, you know, that people thought would exist in the future, decades ago?
Oh yes, I remember:
This was from over 60 years ago! 😳
What have we been doing all this time? We could have had elevated moving walkways without any guard rails by now!
We haven’t been working hard on hoverboards either
Thanks for participating! You didn’t win this time, but I hope you had fun :) And you got 2nd place
I’m surprised I got 2nd place to be honest! Thank you.

At the rate we are going…
Starting Prompt: A dystopian image of the earth, broken apart, in outer space, from the vantage point of standing on the moon.
at least earth has a second moon by then (according to the picture)
Earth will briefly have a second ‘mini moon’ this autumn
Earth’s gravitational pull will cause a trapped asteroid to orbit around planet for about two months
According to a study published this week, an asteroid roughly the length of a city bus will be captured by Earth’s gravitational pull and orbit our planet for about two months, becoming a “mini moon”.
It will spend time with Earth from 29 September until 25 November before returning to its home, an asteroid belt revolving around the sun.
But we can’t see it :(
The object will be “too small and dim for typical amateur telescopes and binoculars”
Thanks for participating! You didn’t win this time, but I hope you had fun :)
Prompt: A photo of a dystopian future Mars colony. Humans are exploiting the resources of Mars with oil drills, mining, factories, robots, and trains and spacecrafts carrying minerals and products. The environment is severely polluted with smoke and waste. Add a quarry with a deep hole, add some robots carrying raw materials.
Interesting. AI knows the surface of Mars, so it paints it red, but it doesn’t know its inside, and doesn’t understand it should be the same color.
Thanks for participating! You didn’t win this time, but I hope you had fun :)
I imagine a HFY future.

The ‘detailed’ in tons of parentheses looks promising from how it affected this picture.
