Nickelback is good, especially the early music. Imagine Dragons is similar in that they both are kinda hated because their music is really mainstream and accessible, which is in my opinion a pretty weird reason to hate the bands.
I can understand hating something because it’s overplayed and you’ve heard it so much that it just makes your skin crawl.
I have that with Queen’s Radio Ga Ga. When I was working in a cruise ship at 19, I boarded while it was still being constructed and out of the 2 weeks it was in drydock before we set sail, 1 of them was spent testing the PA system by playing that song, on loop, 24/7 for a week straight with no breaks. It was psychological torture.
I see people hate on Imagine Dragons, Creed, and Nickelback (though the latter two not so much recently)… I like these bands.

Creed is good. Alter Bridge is phenomenal.
