Nice monitor, I think my mom had that one when I was growing up. Does it go up to 1600x1200? I think that was the resolution her monitor had. I think it was also an aperture grille instead of a shadow mask.
Mine was a basic-bitch beige shadow mask tube (which, amusingly, now tend to be worth more than a lot of the last generation mid-range CRTs despite being lower quality). I managed to find one on eBay in decent condition after a year or two of searching, so now it’s sitting in my room. My next CRT might be one like yours.
Edit: I wish someone could come up with an inexpensive way of manufacturing small quantities of CRTs. There aren’t any new CRTs and likely won’t be due to the cost and complexity of the tubes. All the “new” ones are actually low-use tubes in new shells.

I know what you mean, you can still find TV’s relatively easily but most people threw away monitors so those are much harder to find.
It’s good for gaming because it has theoretically 0 input lag. If you try a retro Nintendo game (where input is important), Even using a 2ms monitor makes noticeable impact compared to a CRT. Tetris attack for example is like night and day on a CRT vs modern TV. It also helps when playing a FPS
