I installed a new prewired pick guard single bridge humbucker into my strat and I get power to the humbucker because it’s magnetized, but i don’t get any sound. I turned the volume knob up and down and I get nothing. Any ideas?

    Probably would help if you could send pics of all the wiring. Much easier to troubleshoot if we can see everything.

    I soldered two wires onto the jack and the ground is through to the back and soldered onto the spot where the old one was. Is there a chance I need to swap the wires that I soldered to the jack? Like maybe I soldered them to the wrong spots? Could it just be that the volume pot is fucked?

    EDIT: SOLVED. I switched the black wire and white wire. The black was not ground, the second white was. It sounds great. Check her out
