Ferrari not pitting under the safety car.

Count that as the first strategy blunder of the day!

Truly shocked that it worked out for them at all.

I fully imagined ill advised stops that put them both back into the DRS train. Not bad, Scuderia!

they may be gambling on more safety cars, but im not sure that would help them.

Because this one’s going to bunch the field up. Another safety car in 5 laps and Ferrari pitting would put them 17th-18th

    As for the race… predictions:

    • At least 3 yellow flags

    • George gets upset with Lewis

I think that was was GP meant: “Sonny you’re not fooling anyone driving faster than the rest of the grid…” Since I took Max message as mind games to goad tyre information from other teams.

Very surprised they didn’t make him stop. Can you imagine the size of the accident if that fell off at 200mph with how close everyone was behind him. Could have ended up a multi car incident.

Felt pretty amateur from De Vries.

He pushed Kevin wide into turns one and two, only to ruin his entry into turn two. Then completely locks up into three trying desperately to hold onto a place he’d more or less already lost.

Max for the first time this season had to push to not get caught. Alonso and later Hamilton with the mediums had practically the same pace as him.
    The 33 is coming. 😎

Hey guys, just joined Lemmy due to the silly reddit changes.

Glad to see there’s already been work put in to create a sublemmy.

Ferrari, finally with a decent strategy, it is nice to see. Hopefully not just getting my hopes up once again.

Still not sure of it was deliberate or a fluke. Bit kinda glad they did well. We need them in the mix.

We finally did see some team orders and not some back alley strategy to handicap the second driver (Sainz).
