Magic the Gathering: Arena grabbed my attention again after our friend group picked up the cards again. When I dont play modern stuff I’ll boot up my PS2 and play Monster Hunter 2 (DOS) online. Some smart folks brought back a private server for the old PS2 era games. Great Community (MHOLDSCHOOL Discord, also hosts of the Server) and a change of pace.

Probably because Social Media is their ad platform.

I did at some point, but I keep mixing it up with my native language rule for quotations. I study both german and english language and should actually know better, lol. The rules of written language are fascinating to me, so I appreciate any corrections!

Hey there! Don’t want to nitpick, but it is spelled „you‘re“ in your case. „Your“ is used when you‘re talking about possessive attribution. „Your car“ vs „you‘re (you are) driving a car“.

Was exactly the same for me. Was so hyped once the DOS server opened up for public access. I‘ve played my fair share of MH1 online back in the days so this was like a dream come true.

I went back to PS2 era games. This was the golden era imo, where games came out in a playable state and an amazing amount of content. Right now I‘m playing a completely English translated version of Monster Hunter 2 on a private server that went live about a month ago, it’s amazing.

It’s just part of my personality by now and I don’t feel bad about it any more. I just keep adding skills to my repertoire and thus have a broad spectrum of things I can talk about and relate with other people.

Imo Dead Space was the last decently made mobile game. After that the F2P craze started and never stopped.

Oh my bandmate uses these, yeah they do their job well enough. I use the same strap for several instruments so something else might be better.

It didn’t break “per se”, but the lock slips out of the pin after a minute or two. Guess it’s worn out?

Everything aside the frets is easy and low effort. But without experience on a cheap guitar I wouldn’t put my hands on the frets, especially if you have neither a fret press nor have done a few fret jobs before. You could get your hands on the right tools and buy some cheap, used, necks and learn the process or find a luthier. Fretwork and swap (depending on the amount that have to be exchanged) goes for around 400€ upwards where I live. You might get away with recrowning the frets and adjusting the nut one last time though, they look like they could tolerate one last fret job before they are finally worn out.

We are social creatures and there’s just so much you can handle on your own. I wonder what your point of view is about Friendship. What do you consider as a friend? What does make a friend? Genuinely curious.

This is such an honest and sad statement that I wish was wrong, but isn’t. Whenever I try to open up to another guy, even some of my best friends, they just can’t relate, or make me feel understood, I should say. Talking about depressions and anxiety with another dude feels like chatting about mathematical equations instead of being there for one another. It hurts, but I can’t change it.
