I mean, the pantries ask for canned goods, because they’re shelf stable, portable, safe.
Not sure where you think this is anything like used needles.

Weird, I have the Izzy repo and it doesn’t show up.
Thanks for the link!
This is a major issue with F-Droid. I can find this via a browser, but the F-Droid app doesn’t show it, even searching by name. It just doesn’t exist. It happens all the time, I’m not sure why it doesn’t show apps that I know are there.
G-Droid doesn’t show it either. :/
Looks like that’s for iOS?
Edit: Which is a cool find too, since I also have iOS devices.
I’m not finding it, do you mean Open Note Scanner?
Why?
It had a proper “fail-safe” incident. It functioned as intended.
It was actually a success story. It failed safe, as designed.
Unfortunately “The China Syndrome” really pumped up anti-nuclesr sentiment.
TMI was the opposite of Chernobyl.
Because mosts music tastes stagnate [sic] after your teens
Assumes facts not in evidence.
Also ignores that pop music, by definition, has the broadest reach, by being the lowest common denominator (no criticism here, it’s just a fundamental requirement to be accessible by the most people).
Compare pop music to say, Miles Davis’ “Kind of Blue” . Far fewer people can appreciate “Kind of Blue” because it’s insane complexity. Hell, I have musical training and can only listen to it occasionally, on the daily I much prefer something far more approachable, some form of more-popular music - even stuff we call “classical” (which was the pop music of it’s day).
Just another way MS is working to pull you completely into their system.
Oh the horror.
Nice jingoism.
I’ve never once had a problem managing my alarm clock for my days off (though it’s a neat idea).
Your whole “Americans don’t sleep” nonsense is just that, ignorant nonsense. Maybe take this political bullshit somewhere else, not this post.
Instead, perhaps, email the dev and do the legwork to get this feature, that only you seem to want, added. I do this all the time. Funny, it takes effort on my part to get features, instead of complaining and condemning people.
MANY devs aren’t American, so you’re insulting them.
Does an alarm clock really need constant updates?
I don’t get this fixation on constant updates. If an app works, and risks are trivial, then what updates are required?
This app doesn’t have internet access, or storage access. I’d say risks are almost non-existant.
And even for apps with storage or network access, again, if the other layers of your security are in place, and an app has nominal risks, constant updates aren’t necessarily required. Keeping in mind that changes bring errors too.
Weird, FDroid website returned a 404,and searching for Alarmio came up empty.
And yet using the F-Droid app I could find it and it’s the same link you posted.
The maintenance on those buildings at this point would be major. Probably not worth the investment.
Yep, all they gotta do is well, very little.
Gotta wonder why they’re saying this now? What’s the agenda?
Weight is determined by gravity, which is determined by the mass of the objects.
Regardless of gravity, objects still retain their mass, so you wouldn’t be able to move anything that massive.
Moving an object requires force, the amount of force required is related to the object’s mass and current velocity (momentum). Even sitting still you’d have to accelerate the mass from zero.
I forget the acceleration formulas, physics was a few decades ago. F=M*A?
I’m sure it would be the same as it currently does.
I still don’t get it
The ribbon is one thing, the flat design and obfuscating tools/settings are a far bigger issue.
Flat design may be less distracting to you but that also means it’s less clear, because there are fewer obvious demarcation.
I despise flat design, it’s downright awful design, and done for looks rather than functionality.
Even saying it’s “less distractive” supports this.
Microsoft also did this to obfuscate features, which is pretty apparent when you consider new users used to “discover” features via the menu system. I supported Office for MS in the early days, and this was a huge thing at the time. It was discussed heavily when training on new versions.
And it was created without encryption be default (which was discussed at the time).
The argument was hardware couldn’t handle the load of encryption at the time. Hahahaha, riiiight.
