Its only a week old, but I would strongly recommend Baldur’s Gate 3. I would warn you, it might spoil a lot of future games for you, by setting the bar so high.
And if you want an equally emersive but MUCH older game,look up ADOM.

I dont remember where I read that quote, but I agree with it.
It is VERY similar to the Divinity games. It uses somewhat modified DnD 5e rules, as opposed to Divinitys’ own system (though that system took a lot of inspiration from DnD.) The RPG and world building elements will feel very familiar.
Ultra (subscription) and “no-ads” are two different options…no ads is a one time 20USD. Ultra includes additional features beyond the core app. It also has a lifetime option, which is the very expensive one.
Connect isnt FOSS. The dev has said it will be at some point.
I got one of these when I was in my 20s and Id still recommend it. A little grooming goes a long way.

During my fraternity days, I would often say, “the world is my bottle opener” just before using some random object to open a beer.
All that really matters is if its sturdy and small enough to catch over your knuckle and under the rim. Literally any object like that will work.
