Self esteem vs. Self awareness

I’ve just come from Sync, and this is the feature I miss most

I’m a distance runner, and I don’t know if you’ve captured running all that well tbh. I certainly don’t go out for my Sunday long run looking forward to the finish. It’s pretty enjoyable when you’re training, but I concede that racing is difficult and can turn into prolonged suffering.

Everything is expensive in NZD right now. The boss may as well pay me in yen

I’m actually just commenting because I’ve been told lemmy only considers a community to be active if a user has commented or posted to a forum. It’d be nice to see this place grow.
