The Power Puff Girls
Not hard, just fiddly for the fluffy bits. But it is explained with a video by the creator of the pattern. All the other stitches are classic single crochet and slip stitch.
That being said I wasn’t too happy with how the pattern was written overall. Nothing insurmountable, just not what I am used to. Instead of “(2 SC, INC)x6” it would be “sc in next 2, 2 sc in sc, repeat the whole round” for example. I’m just not used to that writing style and I had to really concentrate to avoid making mistakes.
Thanks! This is great.
It is almost guaranteed to be injury free. 😄
It’s supposed to be a fish, the pattern is a bit wonky. Don’t recommend that one. 😅
I did, it’s the white border around the work. I’ll try to block it and see how far it will correct the shape. Thanks!
This is a great story, and idea. I’ll try to integrate some more creative loot to my upcoming Rise of Tiamat campaign… Anything to spark more roleplay.
Perhaps try to complement your animal protein with plant proteins. Quinoa, edamame, lentils, beans… Some vegetables have a surprisingly high protein value.
Watch out tho, many fake meat products are quite high in fat.
Thanks! I’ll check this out.
You may want to consider creating your own community, specifically made for creators to share their announcements. It the same as allowing users to opt-out of newsletters really: either they are interested in potentially spending money on creations, or they would never consider doing so.
If you go this route, you would definitely be in your right to create a post here to announce the creation of such a community. It’s not an ad, it’s information linking to a new community which will be a self-promoting platform for creators.
“No” is a very powerfull word.
If you are a minor and didn’t have a choice, I sincerely sympathize with your fate.
I’ve been a hooker since 2014, when my sister announced she was pregnant with her first and asked me to be the godmother of her child. NGL I was terrified. I don’t like kids. But I love my sister and I recognised the honour she was giving me. So I threw myself into the art of making amigurumi plushies, something to show my affection and dedication to being a good godmother for my niece.
I years later I love my niece, and still crochet for her.
Yes! You are posting in one…
Subreddits are called “Communities” on Lemmy. You can “Join” a community (as long as your instance is federated with the instance hosting that community), and it will be like “subscribing” to the community.
On the right hand side of your “homepage” you will see the communities you are subscribed to under “Subscribed to communities”.
On said homepage you can also choose to filter content on “Subscribed” / “Local” / “All” which translates to “only the communities I joined” / “only the communities hosted on this instance” / “everyyyything”.
Hope this helps… Others have likely explained it better than myself.
Oh I really like the first one! It’s simple enough it wouldn’t look weird when made into a small logo.
Very nice.
You may not like my answer but here goes: Time will tell.
Those who have jumped ship indefinitely will build a community here in the Fediverse. Those who miss Reddit too much will return there and use the official app.
By staying you are building something new. It may not be Reddit, and it may never be Reddit. But there are still millions of users who are here to stay and will become a community.
I hope it will not become a “they” vs “us” thing. Both platforms can exist peacefully, the same way Facebook and Twitter coexist.
Perhaps a difference in content style or format will appear in time, which will make people choose one platform over the other. But that’s not bad. Competition is healthy.
I’m staying, and I’m curious to see where Lemmy is going. All I can do is contribute to making it a place I want to hang out in.
I haven’t found any mexican restaurants in Belgium. Just none. There is a taqueria where I live but it does not scream authentic at all.
As a kid I lived in Thailand and there was an excellent restaurant there with super yummy food - think not sure it was authentic.
Making Mexican food yourself is also tricky as the ingredients (dried chillis) are not easy to find.
