Nope, is apparently a superstitious thing, but I have a feeling it’s roots are in some masculinity BS.
Evolution takes millions of years.
Then again he’s maybe the best person to explain the hard work it took to move away from meth and focus his time, money, and energy on something fruitful.
I agree, but putting the time to make space and pull out study material has to have the value of learning enough. I do actually study regularly, but we can’t pretend it doesn’t require significant energy and dedication to produce a result.
I get the bad luck superstition, but handing someone a closed knife is just safer. The idea that handing someone an open knife shows more respect is stupid.
I’ve had someone hand me an open knife and accidentally stab me with it. The whole point of it closing is to reduce the risk of getting cut.
There’s a really weird thing in the Southeastern US where people will hand you pocketknives with the blade out always and you can’t hand it back closed. I don’t understand it.

You can get pretty large top boxes.

Oh interesting. Thank you for the explanation.
Yes and no. I think.
What I was taught was to dump the battery in the sand and cover it in sand. Then drench with water if possible. This also keeps the now toxic water from reaching a drain.
Maybe it’s saying it was the first time Morton had used it?
