No, no. He’s got a point.
I hope they paint a tree
SPM had THE BEST story out of any Mario game ever because of the characters, from my perspective it were the changes to combat and world design that people hated, even though I think it works for the game itself.
TTYD is fantastic and I think its better then the first one.
So, now are only Pikmin Bloom and Fire Emblem Heroes left.
I for one care. The niche discussion I crave for are just not here due to it’s low (and widely split) userbase.
I see Undertale but not Deltarune. If you haven’t tried it yet, the two released chapters are free.
It’s nice to see so many different awnsers, gaming has just so many good soundtracks.
Personally, I love the soundtrack of the original Xenoblade Chronicles. “Engage the Enemy” really hits during the cutscene it plays.
Another recomendation is Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s “Words that never reached you”
Platinum added and changed so much that it’s still considered the definitiv Gen4 version, even after BDSP released. It’s really that different.
Not gonna lie, only having new pokemon for the story was a welcome change. It’s a reason why Ruby and Saphire are so memorable to me, you only encountered new pokemon for the first few hours. I agree that the White Forest (and Black City) are beautiful places, tho I have to say that I prefer the BW2 versions because of the “rogue-like” facility.
What excactly was so great about the postgame? The right side of unova didn’t had that much to offer. Kyurem, Cynthia, the dive maze, the roaming genie and Looker are the only noteworthy things that come to mind.
BW on it’s own really were unimpressive and I understand the hate they recieved. Coming right after Platinum and HGSS left them with big shoes to fill that those games just couldn’t. Not that they were bad, just not on par with what came before. What saved Gen5 was BW2, and personally changed my stance on BW. Both together make the best experience Pokemon ever had.
You’ll be fine. It takes time to understand the combat and mechanics, but once you’ll get the hang of it it’s a very fun experience. The village quests handed out by Hinoa are like a tutorial, solo-only quests with smaller health pools etc. It’s best to try out the weapons there to see what you like the most, and after that you’re good to go to tackle the hub quests from Minoto. These are seperated in Low & High Rank and can be played with other people online. If you have trouble at any poimt of time, remember that you can customize your buddies! Palamutes are more damage oriented, while Palicos are supporters with a wide range of skills. There’s also the Defender Armor and Weapons which can help you clearing the early game, but since it’s made for people who just want to get to the expansion ASAP, it’s not adviced for newcomers.
And yes, there are still enough people that play the base game :)
At least Yoshi games are adorable and wholesome
