  • I love both movies, but I also think the first one is better. The second movie is bigger with a lot more beautiful art styles and animation. But it’s standing on the shoulders of a giant. Into the Spiderverse is so incredible on its own. I can and have rewatched it multiple times. Anyone can watch it have a good time. The story is so well told that it’s great for Spider-man fans and those who aren’t. It’s inspiring animation films to utilize a similar comic book at style. For me, the first film edges out the second one.

  • I liked it, but didn’t love it. I have no interest in watching it again and I love the Flash.

The CGI is bad, noticeably so. I don’t think it was because the animators did a bad job. I think it’s because of how much of it was needed. Especially all the facial animations which are very difficult.

The story was okay. It’s a very pivotal, modern Barry Allen story. The execution here was alright. I enjoyed the ride.

All in all I would have rather have gotten an excellent smaller scale movie, then this alright big movie.
