Encapsulation kinda sounds like it could be a spell too. That’s 2/3 pillars of OOP.

Are you the neighbor? Weird spot to defend yourself, here, unless you were the neighbor in question.
“No, not the nice pick 'em up truck! That’s the one I use to go line dancing and pick up cousin dates, dammit!”

Even our STDs have carcinized.
This is so true, mostly because we are spoiled by growing up with modern tools. We are many generations of tools separated from our roots. Standing on the shoulders of giants and all that.
On the other hand, if an EMP took out the grid and CAD disappeared, you can be damn sure engineers amongst us would be bashing rocks together and figure a lot of it out pretty quickly.
We will brute force anything as a species if we need to, we just mostly don’t need to at the moment, and time is money.
I don’t think the previous comment was saying to not do anything at all about a threat like that. Just that publicly humiliating them isn’t the way to go about it.
The zillion part definitely made me lean towards sarcasm, but I guess I can never be too sure with all the brainrot and bots out there. The Red Scare still lingers.
Your mother was kind and intelligent enough to get satisfaction from the knowledge that she made someone’s winter a bit more bearable. We should all strive to be like your mother.
I honestly can’t tell if this is sarcastic or not. There are too many people out there that sound just like this.
There is a gigantic difference between being forced to provide healthcare for people, regardless of political affiliation, and being forced to disseminate political propaganda and misinformation, regardless of political affiliation.
The people have rights, the flyers do not. So while I agree that the postal worker had a duty to deliver the flyer per federal law, I disagree that anyone should be allowed to freely send hateful propaganda and rhetoric to every mailbox. It’s just that making a fair law around that is difficult.
It’s weird to root for a multi billion dollar corporation, especially Nintendo, even if you think Palworld is in the wrong.
I can agree that IP theft can be dumb in some cases, and Palworld is cutting it pretty close there. Nintendo sues everyone, though, even for the pettiest of reasons, and this kind of behavior shouldn’t be encouraged.
Palworld isn’t actually putting a dent in Nintendo’s bottom line. Nintendo is just litigious against everybody, including their own fans, so of course they are going to sue a competitor.
The little black box with a screen is a pager. Pagers have been in the news because Israel made a bunch of Hezbollah pagers splode, in case you somehow missed all of that.
I don’t why you are so downvoted. Your comment didn’t come off as shilling for Snapchat or anything, and it just clarifies things for people who only read the headline. I appreciate the clarification.
This is still an invasion of privacy, but not quite as egregious as using people’s faces in global advertisements. Obligatory fuck Snapchat, regardless.
Best rally Sim is definitely debatable, but it most definitely still holds up pretty well against more modern rally sims like Dirt Rally 2.0, and that is insane enough considering it’s age. The mods for RBR have definitely extended its lifespan.
The physics in RBR still feel better to me than the modern rally games like Dirt Rally 2, and WRC9 and what not, and that is incredibly impressive. I will say the modern games are better for competitive play and obviously have better graphics and immersion.
Dirt Rally 2 with even a cheap driving simulator setup is incredible. It’s like the dark souls of racing games, and doesn’t hold your hand at all.
Assetto Corsa is another great one with a simulator. The amount of mods, cars, and tracks added to the game has made enough content to keep someone entertained for probably their whole life.
Really, any modern racing game that uses wheel and pedals are amazing compared to what existed before that. Luckily, even the good direct drive wheels and good pedal setups have gotten more affordable in recent times.
I really want to believe you typed that all out right now, but I guess either way, it’s also pretty batshit crazy to have that ready to copy and paste.
Also I spotted a 21 Savage in there somewhere. It’s almost like a word search.
I never once said he didn’t try at all so way to discredit your point from the get go. What about ketamine treatments? Psychedelics? I highly doubt he tried everything is all I’m saying. He had the responsibility to “cope” for his family.
I completely agree euthanasia should be a thing for extreme mental issues so you aren’t really saying anything different than I was there either.
I like 90 percent agree with you and disagree on one little thing. You seem to just want to fight with me for slightly disagreeing on his responsibility as a father and husband.
Its not bigotry. I feel like there are many many kinds of treatment for depression and they all should be exhausted first, especially in his situation. I would be okay with euthanasia if everything was tried, and if the person at least would have made a plan with a medical professional and family. Just like they would do in places where euthanasia for chronic pain is legal. I would be open to that idea. I just think there is a difference between suicide and euthanasia, I guess.
Also, don’t get me wrong, Chester was very much a victim of his illness, and stigma around mental health is real. Stating the fact that he had a responsibility to his family doesn’t contribute to that, though.
I agree. It kind of sounds like a kids jingle, and it’s just too simple compared to the rest of the album, which has some of the most intelligent songwriting ever.
