  • What Jenkins is good for, is ensuring a consistent environment with a single purpose. On the contrast, I dislike GitHub, because engineers are repurposing it for every single component separately, so we end up with 20+ workflows which isnt anywhere near maintainable. With the hurdle of Jenkins declarative pipeline coding in the way, at least they make sure, that whatever they add works in the overall context of ci/cd. But yeah, I understand the docker context issue, that’s why I don’t use that feature explicitly.

  • I second Lotto, as it’s really great with the more community-focused aspects of MMOs. On my server, you can always find a endgame raid or dungeon group. With the recently added scaled difficulty landscape settings, you can make the landscape content harder or easier for you. Unfortunately the game is aside from the endgame content most times a single player experience. Lower level content is mostly dead, except in between major expansions, when endgame content is not that much requested as the next expac is coming in soon.

Honestly, I haven’t yet played it. The newest update introduces just a new quest zone in Gondor to prepare for the next expansion, coming this autumn. Not so much group content in this, so people still play the gundabad and carn dûm group content. With the raid in carb dûm now only being out for like 2 month, and only being introduced to tier 3, this is still the relevant endgame content to play in.
