How I make digital art:
I don’t create digital art, unless you count using Pocket paint to scribble randomly. If so, it’s similar.

Thank you.
If you haven’t tried them, I recommend giving them a try. They all have something to offer.
I have tried them on desktop and in most cases, I did not have any serious issue with them. I was thinking which one would be better optimised for laptops.
KDE handled things very well
I’m on KDE now. It’s good. Was thinking whether there are any DE’s that are specifically recommended for laptops, for efficiency or ease of use.
php
Not a programmer, but is php bad?
In the past, I had read that logins in websites were handled using php and mysql. Is some new/better language popular nowadays?
Edit: Thank you for the responses.
Is ‘Yeehaw’ also used?
Have you informed the admin of your instance?
I think they’ll be able help you better, whether it’s some server error or so?
What about lying to yourself? Technically, it needs only one.
Indeed. If you’re looking for communities currently, maybe this will help:

Opensource/FOSS:
Kdenlive, Openshot, Shotcut
It think Shotcut is the simplest to use.
Not for pp endurance training?
In places like Denmark, The Netherlands, Finland and so on, people bike in pretty much any weather without huge issue, rain, snow, heatwave, doesn’t matter.
Is their weather mild/good most of the time?
Or do their bicycle paths have good shades?
It probably would be helpful, but it wouldn’t be that useful in the tropical regions, where you have monsoons with strong rain/wind and hot summers.
Physical exertion in the sun is not always fun.
Tho, It’d be fun when the destination is near and the weather is decent.
I’ve used Chrome(Haven’t yet tried Ungoogled Chromium on PC. Have used Bromite in the past). It doesn’t seem to be much faster.
Replaced Infinity for Reddit’s icon/launcher with that of Jerboa for Lemmy.
Indeed.
Well, I haven’t seen the comments(or screenshots. Doesn’t seem to be shared) of the creator of lemmy, so I’m sort-of neutral on the matter.
I would not want to use any tools developed by nazi freak at the same time.
I would not use such a tool if it brings them and their ideology funding or other benefits, but if I can use it for my purposes(which are likely not evil or harmful) without contributing to their cause, then I would.
If the tool can be used for good, then should it be ignored just because of the political inclinations of the creator?
genocide Uyghurs in china
As a person who hasn’t really looked up the issue(I mean I have read about it on the net here n there, but have never dived into the issue deeply), I have seen people talking about it on both sides and I’m confused.
The main things I’m hearing from people who say that a genocide isn’t happening are:
Most of the times I’ve seen it, both sides accuse each other of being blinded by propaganda and the convo devolves there.
Which side is actually right here?
Upvoting because of Aubrey Plaza
What does this mean tho?
An idea cannot fight weapons/power without public support. And for public support it needs to be daring enough point out the opponents? And for this the idea needs to be rooted on human life?
