Awkward is a liability with the IPO, hope that jackass doesn’t get unbanned.

They should also require that every post begins with “sic semper tyrannis”
I set up an account on Squabbles but I hope Lemmy/Kbin really take off as I would much rather not deal with another company.
Can anyone explain what the point is of creating an instance and filling it with bots? Seems like it just costs money and time but with no benefit? Is it for a future spam campaign?
It’s the same dark magic that magnets use I’m pretty sure
I’ve seen a few mountain lions while mountain biking and never been murdered by kitty, I think God is just posturing
Is https://botsin.space/@threadcount on drugs? It is showing lemmy/kbin at 437,000 right now
The circle of romance
A double lol
Better post this on PCMR as well, I’m sure it will be well received
Their social media ads trying to convince advertisers to pay for Reddit ads have grown exponentially. Our company tried running ads on Reddit but the ROAS was so shit we abandoned after a month and reallocated budget back to decent platforms.
I definitely think that ads will start appearing on the bigger instances especially since the overhead will most likely outpace donations. I could also see a lot of super small instances pop up just for people to host for their friends. I’m thinking about creating an instance just for me and a few friends but I’ll definitely have to deviate from my standard Reddiy username, can’t let that cat out of the bag.
Custom feeds where you could lump content together from various communities on the account level would be awesome.
I mean is there really a great way to keep a problem user banned on Reddit? VPNs, VMs, etc pretty much make it so a dedicated trouble maker can keep coming back unless I’m mistaken
Jerboa is actually really fucking good though
I’m guessing a good chunk of people will be split between creating an account on Lemmy/kbin, raddle, squabbles and possibly tildes. One of the alternatives will most likely win out for users switching from Reddit, I hope it is Lemmy but who knows.
