Because in the context it sounds bad. But thinking about it I do feel like i also would take it and even go so far as saying i think the society would be better.

In my opinion I don’t think a fix is necessary since this situation won’t happen often anyway.

What I see as a much bigger problem is the 5sec penalty. Because most if the time 5sec won’t actually change anything for the offender if they can just drive ahead 10, 15 or even 20 sec in a spread wide field. They should out harsher penalties like lost positions after end of race or maybe to get only half of the points if the finished position or something like that.

at some point they will realize that all that microplastic is bad for the environment and they will ban tyres that practically destroy themselves.

i have been saying already they should switch to a different limiting factor than tyres. Maybe force them to use much bigger batteries that are plug and play. and give them options of different power/weight/amount or something like that.
