Thanks! I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. Really nice to have such a long lens in a small affordable package!
Yep! It was my first time visiting. I had no idea there was a national park so close to home.
Thanks! I’ve been having a lot of fun with this 500mm lens, definitely gonna go for some more moon photos on clearer nights with a less aggressive film stock!
Thanks for the feedback! This was my first time scanning B&W film myself, I just did a batch inversion from one reference frame and stopped adjusting when it looked fine.
Just went back and adjusted the black and white points based on the histogram, and it looks a lot better!
Thanks! I definitely see the resemblance
f1.4 is just the max aperture of the lens I used. I think this was shot around 1/15s f11. Not 100% sure on the aperture since I just set the camera to shutter priority.
Thanks!
I love the flat side-profile you got on this! Did you have to wait a while to line this up?
Thanks! Nope, I shot it at 125. Really happy with how all the shots turned out. I’ve got a couple more rolls that I’ll definitely be shooting at the same iso.
I have the nFD version which I believe also has the SSC coating. It’s my favorite lens so far! It was such a refreshing focal length coming from my 35mm point and shoot, and the quality of the lens is amazing.
Lol it’s been very foggy in Michigan the past month or so. I’ve definitely been taking advantage of it!
After being a “smartphone photographer” for years, I finally took the plunge into film last year and loved it.
I have so much fun getting my film back from the lab and finally revealing all the pictures I had taken.
Now I’m looking forward to getting into some alternative printing methods!
Thanks! Yep taken around a month ago, developed and scanned more recently.
Thanks!
Nice! I like that you got the pigeon and tree trunk in focus, while the background elements are a little off kilter. Very fun shot!
Yep, small world! I took this around Xmas time. I was hoping for some snow, but the fog made up for it
Thanks!
Really nice framing in this photo!
They’re dressed up for a thanksgiving day parade in Detroit. They were marching with a balloon of Captain Underpants.
Hmm the film stock may actually be Amber D400
