I heard Americans talk about the holidays policies of their employers and it got me thinking “What the …?”

They had something below 30 days, sick days included.

Sick days included?! In Germany, if your sick during your holidays, you get the holidays back. Because your supposed to rest and relax during your holidays and not have a fever or whatever…

It’s quite simple, as I also never did kimchi before. Just be care full with the amount of chillies. It says 40 g but for what I can get in a German supermarket that’s a bit too spicy. I found amounts between 15-20 g ideal.

I open it every now and then to release the pressure and put it into the fridge after a week or so. That said, the jars are maybe not ideal, but it works good enough for me.

To me, it’s more crazy that some people actually do live in this cities, according to this article.

I was super glad to learn that “The Expanse” was adapted from a book series.

I love the show and it’s concept of hard sci-fi. The book (I have only read “Leviathan Wakes” but have the second book lying around here) is just as good and I definitely recommend both.

Several months ago I finished Dan Simmons “Hyperion” it’s such an amazing book. It got everything I want from a good sci-fi story!

Can’t wait to read the other parts.
