Communities on lemmy, magazines on kbin. They’re the same thing. Instance is the server you join to view and interact with the magazines and communities. Your instance is like a small chunk of the fediverse pie. With our powers combined we are a federated pizza in a box with the lid open. I was too harsh. I understand the motivation to filter posts you can’t read but it’s not like the posts are ads or some kind of negative content. It’s a typical American thing to do.

Why aren’t people asking about translators being added so they can read the posts instead?
