This is pretty true. I was talking to my gf abt meta making Instagram threads and she was confused why meta was making a product under the Instagram label before I told her that meta owned Instagram. Tbf to her she hasn’t installed Instagram in years so its not like she would see meta branding in their current app or whatever they do.

Its just like, what other word should we use than cisgender? We can say people whose gender matches their one assigned at birth I guess but that gets annoying. In certain contexts the cisgender label just makes discussion easier.

Yeah but just because they name the charity doesn’t mean its a good charity. Some charities just aren’t good ones to donate to and you’re basically just throwing money down a well when you do donate to them.

I hate these donate screens because I have no idea where the donation actually goes and i don’t want to have to do a ton of research at the grocery checkout about whether its a good charity.
