I very much enjoy the first movie. I have watched it several times and still enjoy going back to it. I absolutely agree the plot is puddle-deep, as you said, and it makes no attempt at all to disguise its analogies (“unobtanium”), but it’s mastery is not in the story itself but the way in which it is told. It’s almost operatic in the amount of time it spends within each story beat. The second film failed to do a lot of the things I loved about the first one and was very forgettable.
Are there any good tools for incorporating third party games into Steam, like what Steam ROM Manager does for emulators?
Big bump for Sundered if you like 2D Metroidvanias. I have played through it at least 5 times (you need to do it 3 times to get all the endings)
Yeah, the amount of work that has gone into these for a one-time purchase of $25 is a pretty great deal.
No GCN Rainbow Road?
Remind me where we keep the pitchforks?
Possibly the dust is so caked on it’s harder to wipe through all of it?
The 2 party system doesn’t change until voting changes. First-past-the-post voting actively encourages 2 dominant parties. Ranked choice voting isn’t perfect, but it’s definitely better than FTTP and it has the most momentum in the US right now.
It’s not quite as mind-shatteringly good, but it has some great “ah-ha” moments.

Ahh, the LSR (Lump Stick Rectangle) model. Miss those.
@c4444v Summer twilight, from like 8 PM to 9:30 PM, was my favorite time of day as a child. Just magical.
Transistor was fantastic!
Kena was great. There was so much more they could have done with that world and Kena’s backstory, but I think it’s the #1 best looking game I’ve ever played.
You sure? I’m using Lawnchair right now and it has cover mode.
Unless they’re removing it in v14 for some reason?
