I’ve been on late aughts basic cable dramas lately. After finishing Leverage I’ve rolled onto Burn Notice. Very fun and light and god damn but Bruce Campbell is an American treasure. “Spies, a bunch of bitchy little girls.”

I got to second a recommendation for Flight Attendant. Great show. Kelly Cuoco is much better then I expected and pretty much everything she’s put her hand to after Big Bang has been awesome.

Maybe it’s a because I’m rewatching it right now but the first couple that jumped to my mind was Andy and April from Parks and Rec. Andy is very warm and bubbly and April is not. They’re a very fun couple but I’m not sure about breaking gender roles so much as just not really caring about them. The rest of the couples in P&R are pretty good friendship and passion combos from Ron and Diane’s practical seriousness to Leslie and Ben’s friendly romance. It’s the first place I heard the phrase that’s become my relationship touchstone “I love you, and I like you.”

It’s not hard to see why people get bothered by Wheel. When you play a Wheel card it’s a 1 in 4 chance in the way that it’s like rolling a 1 on a d4, always the same no matter how many you play. But physiologically it feels like it should be like drawing a spade from a deck of cards, the odds should get higher as you draw non-winning cards.

As a person with an interest in the history of movies I got throw in The Big Chill. It was the OG film soundtrack, I’m pretty sure it was the first soundtrack to hit the billboard top 10 albums in a time when that meant something and is full of ‘50s & ‘60s bangers.

Yup I had to borrow my wife’s work laptop it’s a real pain.

Have you upgraded the firmware on the controller? I had basically the same problem and I needed to update the firmware.

Yup it’s dumb fun. That’s it. That’s why it’s my guilty pleasure. I’m in no way a better person for having watched it and it has the depth of a shallow puddle, but I get several giggles when I watch. One thing I’d disagree with you though is Rose McIver isn’t a bad actress (she did a solid turn in iZombie and other shows) and she can charming but the character of Sam is under written I’d agree.

The US Ghosts is so stupid… and so fun. I can’t get enough of Hetty and her gilded age “I’m rich and you’re not” attitude and her love of cocaine.

A Man on the Inside is much more of a character and story based comedy then Shure’s previous work. It’s a lot less joke dense then The Good Place which was in turn less dense Parks and Rec. I mean I’d expect a comedy about grief, loss, and regaining a purpose to go at a slower pace and I found it lovely and clever, but it definitely not a “Joke Factory”. Your Mileage and all that but I got through the whole series in a day because each episode was sweet and cute, not because I couldn’t stop laughing.
