The British ruling class is more interested in maintaining their own power than in supporting Israel. Israel isn’t their military base, and they want good relations at least with the ruling classes of the Gulf states. If pushed too hard, there is a possibility that they will throw Israel under the bus to save their own skins. I’m not betting on it happening, but Harmer & Co. are spineless cowards, so anything is possible.

Muslims in the ruling class.

We should do what works. Entryism into Harmer’s government would, in general, be a waste of time. Getting the BBC to correct this particular mistake might work, as (1) the UK has a sizeable elite Muslim population, (2) the UK, unlike the US, needs to maintain good relations with oil producers, and (3) criticising Israel and supporting Palestine is therefore much more ‘acceptable’.

It’s a public service. It needs to be corrected, not abandoned.

Yes, but is it worth going to war over a drone dropping some leaflets? Returning an equivalent amount of waste paper was funny and appropriate, war is neither.

NATO losing to Russia in Ukraine, and to the Houthis in the Gulf of Aden, will send a message to a lot of neutral countries that (1) NATO can’t / won’t protect you anymore, and (2) you can push back against NATO and win or at least gain concessions. NATO will still be the single largest military bloc in the world, but they’ll actually have to negotiate, maybe even compromise.

You can make cattle feed out of it though.

But wouldn’t penalties / sanctions only work on countries that rely on the dollar?

The company was sued in 2017 by drivers whose cars drove themselves unexpectedly through garages and into walls; a German paper reported last year on over 2,400 complaints about sudden braking problems; and a safety researcher published a white paper showing how voltage spikes could lead Teslas to speed up without warning.

Remember the relative of some US senator who drove herself into a pond and drowned? Was she driving a Tesla?

What about the set of all insects?

• Reduced expenditure on constructing and maintaining parking lots. Include the costs of security / cameras.

• Company has better control over when employees come and go.

• Employees can start working while on the bus (reading mails, catching up with co-workers, etc.).

• PR department can highlight this as a new green policy. They might even be able to convince the local government to bear a part of the costs, or give some other monetary reward.
