so what is the issue?
so what is the issue?
ah, rate limits. something twitter was absolutely blasted for but makes sense here because we love lemmy :) even though it serves the same purpose.
i still scroll a little bit. a few subs with content i cant really get anywhere else. tbh the content on lemmy is very bare so i’ll scroll twitter more…
too many line breaks. viewing a thread like this one, everything has a line break between it. too crowded. also, the swipe buttons have a black outline to it. shouldn’t it just be a solid color?
i like that its not a damn mouse lol. it was kinda ugly.
willing to but couldn’t do it?
thats true, i kind of taken your comment out of context. i just assume thats the general conversation.
meaning it’s just as alive as it’s always been. traffic has hardly stopped as of now.
i really doubt it. there is not much impact on reddit and the protest showed that, before 3p apps shut down.
meh, twitter and reddit are moving along just fine. this happens every once and awhile and nothing comes from it. the content on lemmy is bland. i think this will be a trend that dies off as more people don’t understand how it works.
but you do know what i mean…the solution requires an extension to fix lol
i know you can just have one account but what people keep ignoring is that when a post links to another instance, you need to log into it. cross posts work well but if you interact with it, you need to log into their instance.
strange. i didn’t realize banks may not be accepted. i’ve only ever had an issue with visa/mastercard.
would this change the user experience all that much?
maybe more subs should fight with this. it is kinda funny. i would love to see reddit flop from this.
i don’t see it described here. i get the difference between “subscribed” and “all” but what the hell is ”local”?

Not to turn this into an infomercial, but that is a lot of money, and if you appreciate my work I also have a fun separate virtual pets app called Pixel Pals that it would mean a lot to me if you checked out and supported (I’ve got a cool update coming out this week!). If you’re looking for a more direct route, Apollo also has a tip jar at the top of Settings, and if that’s inaccessible, I also have a tipjar@apolloapp.io PayPal. Please only support/tip if you easily have the means, ultimately I’ll be fine.
i thought it was kinda silly when reddit blocked porn from the all & popular but holy shit do i appreciate it now. i’ve never seen my feed as bad as this. i’m getting so much that i will have 2-3 posts in a row from the same community.
