I think a lot of people forget to check where they are before replying to things (me especially). Serious replies show up in shitposts and are then apologized for, joke comments are made in communities that are more serious, etc.
I was thinking it’d be nice to have the option to make me click through a confirmation of the community I’m in before crafting a data-driven response to something in an askmelolz group.
Bonus points for making it big and colorful :D
Personally I’d like it if instead of just seeing the comment I’m replying to in the top half, I could just see the whole thread with maybe a button to go back to the comment that I’m replying to and it being highlighted or something.
And the post/thread title. Like if we’re talking about the Scarlet Johansson AI voice, I am gonna need to check the title for the spelling of her last name.
This could be helpful. And for the record they’re called “communities” or “magazines” if viewed from the kbin/mbin side of things.
