I’m not sure what I was expecting with this one, but “Jedi police procedural” wasn’t it? I only saw S1 of Russian Doll, but I liked it enough to be excited about this show.

I’m guessing the Jedi faked Mae’s death for some reason, and the masters that she’s killing are involved in some kind of coverup or another abuse of authority. For some reason I didn’t except Amandla Stenberg to be playing two characters, and I didn’t expect them to more or less confirm that they’re two separate people in the pilot.

Carrie-Anne Moss really showed up for a day or two to film and action sequence and that’s it (maybe she’ll be in a flashback sequence or something)?

I really hope this doesn’t link back to the “Skywalker Saga”, but I feel like it’s going to explain why the Jedi were so hesitant to take Anakin in at best or somehow involve Darth Plagueis or the origins of Anakin’s birth or something at worst.

Overall: obviously not going to be another Andor (we’ll be lucky if Andor S2 is another Andor tbh). If we’re lucky, it might be entertaining enough for the next 6 episodes.
