There is overwhelming evidence that black and Latino voters helped carry this election for Trump, and that there largest concerns were economic ones that Harris was ignoring.

You can scream about racism or sexism all you want, it’s not going to change facts.

Facts are that Hillary and Kamala lost against trump and Biden won.

Wonder what’s the biggest difference between them

That just means they’re racist too. All he needed to do was paint immigrants and refugees as boogeyman so even minorities look down on them. Anything goes, as long as leopards don’t eat my face!

Or, instead of just continually repeating easily disputable strawman arguments, you could try listening to the issues these people are saying affect them? Overwhelming, the reason these groups voted for Trump is because Kamala was not offering them economic change, and Trump is. It doesn’t matter that he’s lying, they’re just desperate. If you just don’t want to believe them, maybe check your own biases first.

I disagree. There’s a level where you cannot claim blind ignorance. As the saying goes, fool me once…

They’re not incapable of thinking. They might be less educated if you really wanna go down that road (because many would jump to that excuse next) and it still doesn’t excuse this.

They will be on the chopping block very quickly and will cry about it. At that stage? They deserve what’s coming to them. If what you say is true, which I disagree, they voted due to greed, but they had benefit of 2016, you don’t get to claim “they were desperate” solely because Harris didn’t give them perfect solution on silver platter and focused solely on them.

There simply is no excuse and immigrants can be more racist than locals, being one myself, I hate my own “kin” speaking their own language being protected from no one else understanding them. The usual left bullshit, purity tests being the be all and end all has fucked the US yet again.

People will die because of this, be it from starvation, cold, being deported whatever and they will have themselves to blame. I feel sorry for those that saw through it and voted… But 14 million less votes vs 2020? No excuse.

This is very emotional time, sugar coating doesn’t help anyone.

solely because Harris didn’t give them perfect solutions

Let’s be very clear about this, Harris gave them no solutions. Harris said “I will support the existing status quo, the economy is great, there are no problems.” Try and remember that these are people who are actively struggling and desperate for anyone who will tell them things will improve, and Harris openly told these people that things are fine and do not need to improve. Are you really surprised that they do not listen to her?

Blithely shutting down dissent and ignoring people is what got us into this mess. Maybe instead of making a bunch of people into scapegoats, there could just be an acknowledgement that the Harris campaign fucked up a ton and failed.

You’re 100% wrong. Kamala got stupid high number from the black voters and underperformed with Hispanics but she still got 53% of the Hispanic vote.

Off the top of my head she got like 92% from black women and 78% from black men.

Actually no there isn’t. Black voters voted in majority for kamala. Even Latinos voted majority for kamala. She lost some percentage points with those groups, but by far and away white men and women voted for Trump, not for kamalcanif your only recourse in each election year is to hope you get enough black and brown voters to win you the eldtion, then maybe don’t alienate all those voters and tell them their concerns don’t matter for a year before the election.

It’s absolutely a problem if in a single election cycle you go from 60-70% support to just over 50%. In tight elections like the last few that is a losing formula. Especially for Latinos who are the fastest growing minority. If Republicans keep this up they could be getting almost 60% of that vote in 2024, and Democrats are suddenly the ones facing irrelevance based on voter demographics.
