Then she said “SERIOUSLY??”, which kind of woke the guy up again. He started to reach into his pocket for something, so she turned around and bolted. The guy didn’t chase her.

So she ran, and they started chasing after her. This went on for a few seconds until her emotions kicked in. At that point she turned around, seething with rage, made a “RRRAAAH” scream, and sprinted at them. They bolted.
