Look, not a Kadyrov fan by any stretch of the imagination, but look at how this headline is dripping with American exceptionalism. I would love to see US presidents referred to as “warlords” from now on.

I doubt it was “for unity” tbh. Not because Joe wouldn’t do that, he totally would; but I think his brain is scrambled eggs at this point, he’s not playing that kind of chess anymore; all it would take is 1 Trumper in the audience handing him a hat and he’d put it on without a second thought. That’s probably what happened and his handlers spun some juicy unity cope for the media. Joe probably thinks Trump was president 24 years ago during 9/11 and that he’s not even running right now. He probably thinks that Presinald Trunt stopped 9/11 by telling the planes they have to go back.

BREAKING NEWS: JD Vance has just been devoured by Donald Trump for consistent lack of rizz
Yea… the majority of the people in the military are just working class folk who wanted to go to school but couldn’t afford it.
We’ve heard this one a million times before. It’s not impressive. Everyone I know is working class and couldn’t afford school. None of them signed up to drop bombs on brown people for Raytheon stonks. Troops in the imperial core can pipe down, reeducate themselves, apologize for their direct and active participation in imperialism/colonialism, and get in line behind all their working class comrades as followers rather than leaders of the various liberation movements. If they want to be at the front of anything it can be at the front lines of the militant wing of the working class movement, contributing their combat skills to defending rather than attacking the workers. If they weren’t afraid to die for the burger reich then they shouldn’t be afraid to die for the working class. Then the rest of the working class can forgive them if they feel like it. But what happens more often than not is they are constantly engaging in this pick me ass behavior where they need to remind everyone what a small and innocent bean they were when they were tricked into dropping white phosphorous on iraqis or whatever. they are constantly holding their support hostage from the working class, whining about how the working class is too mean and alienating to them for calling them out, and how the rest of the working class should shut up and parrot the idea that they were “tricked.” The implication being that, if they don’t get their way, they’ll withhold support or join reactionaries instead. Good riddance!
the richest man in the world (240 bn net worth) is acting like he’s a lone crusader against corporate tyranny and his reactionary simps are lining up to lick his boots.
ah yes, the wolfsangel… about that…
Your whole woke thing is over. Trump will take 2024 and then normalcy will return.
Oh wow, you mean the ICE camps will open back up? Oh wait, Biden never closed them. What exactly are you threatening us with? Replacing one senile racist with another?
or by using the market by short-selling, using hedge funds, trading through illegal offshore numbered accounts, derivatives, etc.
Which is also just stealing surplus value by proxy, since return on investment is simply a share of the company’s profits, which is itself just surplus value, or unpaid labor.
hmm, the social murder inherent in our current health care system must be radicalizing him right now since his brother Hank has cancer
the modern monetary theorists point out that taxes is how the demand for national currency as a commodity in and of itself is created. At least in a country with currency sovereignty, a fiat currency, and a debt that is denominated in its own currency (like the US). Basically, imagine if you actually managed to live the “yeoman farmer” dream. Imagine you actually got to own some land (paid off the mortgage) and started subsistence farming on it. Well you now have a huge economic incentive to stop participating in the economy, not have a job, feed yourself, and just fuck off and enjoy the rest of your life until you die. Good for you, bad for the nation. So you get property taxed. Well now you can’t just live off of your subsistence. You have to go get a job and earn dollars and participate in the economy at least enough to pay your property taxes. There’s no actual escape from needing participate in the economy and earn dollars, even if you try to pull off the libertarian meme of getting your own land and growing your own food and paying off your mortgage.

Of course the caveat here is that the real way to get around all this is to just become a capitalist exploiter, so that other people’s work earns you enough money to live off of. But by definition most people can’t become an exploiter, because exploitation is a pyramid scheme that requires more people at the bottom than at the top.
Comrade Dessalines, you rock. Your audiobooks and essays are great. No questions.
The “extremist” part of Right wing “extremist” is meaningless. All reactionary politics are extreme, whether they take the active form of stochastic terror or they take the passive form of social murder
(as defined by Engels in 1845, see below). The plausible deniability employed by reactionaries as camouflage among jokes is extremely transparent to anyone familiar enough with it.
The way I tell them apart is that Jackson Hinkle (the guy you’re talking about) has a last name as his first name. And that last name happens to be the president that oversaw the trail of tears.
